Fun with Felt

I started playing with felt recently and created these flowers using a flower die cut from sizzix. I just used the cheap felt from M so its very fibrous so the simpler the flower design the better.

The first fluffy felt flower was inspired from Betsy Veldman's flower tutorial and the notebook page was inspired by Dawn McVey's and Nicole Heady's PTI countdown for July.

My First Attempt on Stitching

I got my sewing machine about a year and half ago as a birthday gift from my siblings. This is my first attempt in stitching on paper and second time using my sewing machine =D. I still need a lot of practice!

I used PTI Up, Up and Away stamps and dies for the clouds and hot air balloons and inverted MS Icicle punched border as grass.
