Flower Cards

My paper scraps are piling up so I decided to create a few flower cards.

This card uses layered flowers in varying sizes. I sprayed pearl glimmer mist to add some sparkle then added a piece of lace at the bottom.

On this card I layered 5 flowers also with varying size then curled the ends a bit and added an I-Topped brad. I used a strip of paper folded to mimic a ruffled ribbon.

Another layered flower with some bling at the center. I used some of the wrinkled ribbon I made from seam binding and colored glimmer mist.

Long Silence

We had a water leak in our house and we had to redo about half our house including our kitchen so you can just image the chaos we had to go through. We had to pack up more than half of our house in our garage and we were in and out of the house and a nearby hotel because at some point our house was unlivable because of all the dust from the construction. Thankfully, we're slowly getting back to normal though ... YEY!

Monster themed Birthday

My youngest son just celebrated his 4th Birthday. Because of our plumbing disaster I did not have time to prepare and it was really a last minute decision to have a party.  Luckily, I was able to cram a simple party for him which was a Sassafras Montrosity inspired theme. I just love this line --- such cute little monsters! Since I was out of time I just re-created the little monsters using various shapes in my gypsy.
