PTI June Blog Hop
Kraft, Dark Chocolate, Summer Sunrise, New Leaf and Orange Zest
I love PTI products especially their paper. It's hard to pick my favorite since all their colors are beautiful. For June's Blog Hop, the theme is PTI's favorite color scheme. I picked Kraft, Dark Chocolate, Summer Sunrise, New Leaf and Orange Zest. This color combination is leaning towards a fall theme but I think the green balanced it out.

Jar of Buttons
This card is inspired by Dawn McVey's button jar embellies. I created the jar shaped card in my gypsy using the jar from Doodlecharm. I added ruffled ribbon, buttons with twine, stamped tag and glossy accent on the jar.

Bingo Cards
My First Attempt on Stitching
I got my sewing machine about a year and half ago as a birthday gift from my siblings. This is my first attempt in stitching on paper and second time using my sewing machine =D. I still need a lot of practice!
I used PTI Up, Up and Away stamps and dies for the clouds and hot air balloons and inverted MS Icicle punched border as grass.

4th of July Card
My friends and I were supposed to meet and make 4th of July theme cards last weekend in Vegas. Unfortunately my Godchild got sick so my friend postponed her trip. Luckily she did because it was scorching HOT! When we got back I made this card since our plans did not push through. The star card base is from the Cricut Wild Card cartridge I just added more stars and buttons with twine.
Birthday Pennant Card
Another Flower Card
I can't seem to make myself to stop making flowers because its so easy and beautiful ... plus it help me use up my paper scraps! This one has a touch of vintage. I cut the flowers in varying sizes, inked the edges a little then I spritzed it with water and crumpled it. I slowly smooth it and dried it with a heat gun then layered it from biggest to smallest and finished it of with a button with twine.
Teacher's Card
This is my kid's last week in school. I'm unprepared as usual =D. I have all these plans but never had a chance to execute them so I just did a quick apple card for my kids teachers. I created the apple shaped card using my gypsy. With the new gypsy update designing cards are so much easier!
Cards with Martha Stewart tags
Here are a couple of cards using Martha Stewart tags plus some experiments on my part.
For both cards I tried using stamps to create my background. It's easier than I thought. It does not have to be aligned perfectly, it was very forgiving with all my mistakes. You have to try it!
On the first card I also tried ruffled ribbon. I used my ATG gun as adhesive, it worked great ... no unravelling at all.
