PTI February Blog Hop

This month's PTI Blog Hop Challenge is dedicated to scallops.  Incidentally, PTI just released a bunch of lovely detailed doilies (my new favorite!).  I used one of the doilies and cut it in half to create a scalloped banner.  I used Just the Ticket stamps and die for the sentiment and a few buttons with rustic twine as accents.  For the background I used a couple of circles from Beautiful Blooms II stamp (they're supposed to be centers of the flowers) and just stamped it randomly with Versamark.

Supplies:
  • PAPER: PTI Dark Chocolate, Raspberry Fizz, Aqua Mist & Hawaiian Shores
  • STAMPS: PTI Just the Ticket & Beautiful Blooms II
  • INK: Stampin Up & Versamark
  • DIECUT: PTI Just the Ticket & Doily Details
  • OTHER:  PTI Rustic Twine, buttons & ribbon

PTI Make It Mondays

I've always liked glitter but I don't like the mess associated with it.  I tried using Scor Tape after seeing PTI's Make It Monday challenge and I'm amazed how the glitter stuck to the tape.  I decided to wrap 3 sides of Mat Stack 3 with Scor Tape and add glitter, the curve part was a bit tricky.

Supplies:
  • PAPER: PTI Royal Velvet, Plum Pudding & Rustic Cream
  • STAMPS: PTI Mat Stack 3 & Larger than Life
  • INK: Stampin Up
  • DIECUT: PTI Parisian Lace Doily, Mat Stack 3 & Butterflies
  • OTHER:  Scor Tape, Prisma Glitter, bling & pearl pins

  • STAMPS: PTI, Hero Arts

PTI Make It Mondays

Here's my take on PTI's Make It Mondays.  I used various PTI sentiment stamps but made one the focal sentiment.

Postage Valentine Cards

Got this older paper from Brenda Walton's Sweet Talk paper collection.  It was just 1 paper with 24 images ... I got it at M's paper sale last week.  I cut it with postage shape scissors and backed it with a complementing cardstock and added a few blings and stickles to resemble a stamp.  I used the 'stamps' as the focal point for my cards and used complementing paper and ribbon from my stack. I'm liking the wrinkle ribbon it adds a lot of texture and its not fuzzy to make a bow. I got a roll of white snug hug seam binding from Sew True and hand dyed it with Glimmer Mist ... I cut the desired length of the seam binding, put it in a sandwich bag and sprayed your choice of glimmer mist then let it dry.
Wow, I was in a roll this weekend.  This is the most I've posted and done, I hope it does not wear out =D.

Supplies:
  • PAPER: PTI Lavender Moon, Rustic White, Kraft, & Hawaiian Shores, My Mind's Eye Pattern Paper
  • STAMPS: Unity Stamps, Hero Arts
  • INK: Versamark
  • OTHER:  wrinkle ribbon, doily, twine & buttons

PTI's Maile Belles Tag

My last entry for a chance to be a PTI Guest Stamp Designer ... keeping my fingers crossed.    Unfortunately, I was not able to use the other 5 beautiful designer tags (I'm hoping this will be the free anniversary set) because I'm just simply poofed but it was fun.  I'm looking forward to the new Make It Mondays.  Good luck to everybody who joined and thanks Nicole for the chance!

Another PTI bigger and better anniversary festivity ... here's my take on Dawn McVey's PTI Anniversary tag.

My Favorite PTI Project

I heart PTI!  I discovered it more than a year ago when I started reading blogs and I was hooked. For this year's festivities I picked my favorite PTI Project ... a card I made for my friend's baby shower.  I love the banner set so I wanted it to be the focal point then I added the clouds cut with the same color cardstock (got this idea from Dawn's Tiny Treats monkey card) to add a little weight on the background.
Check out Nichole's blog for all the festivities and a chance to win the ULTIMATE Card Kit!

  • PAPER: PTI Spring Rain & Blueberry Sky
  • STAMPS: PTI, Hero Arts
  • INK: PTI, Stampin Up
  • DIECUT:  PTI Banners and Clouds
